POLARIS National Security is seeking a graduate fellow to assist with efforts to educate the U.S. public, national security leaders, and congressional candidates on conservative foreign policy issues. Their responsibilities will include: working on long-term policy projects; creating briefing documents; conducting background research; developing communications and messaging content, and more. Successful candidates will have prior experience and academic study in foreign policy, defense, and/or intelligence matters and bring a demonstrable interest in the politics of national security.
Work responsibilities are largely remote but access to Washington, D.C. is beneficial. Stipend will be commensurate with experience.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be matriculating, current, or recent graduate students pursuing a degree in international relations, public policy, or political science
- Have demonstrated experience and interest in national security policy
- Bring a strong understanding of contemporary and historical foreign policy issues
- Have strong writing, research, and communications skills
- Be broadly aligned with our values, as found on the POLARIS National Security website;
